Insurance Coverage
Payment is expected at the time of service. Approximately 20% of insurance plans in Georgia presently cover acupuncture. As more insurance companies begin to understand the therapeutic value of acupuncture, coverage will be expanded. Medicaid and Medicare do not provide coverage for acupuncture. Please contact your insurance company to determine eligibility and coverage, and if you do have coverage, we will provide you with the appropriate codes so that you can seek reimbursement from your insurance company. Our business office will be happy to assist you if you have any other questions.
- Initial Consultation and Acupuncture $150 to $185 (prices vary per practitioner)
- Follow-up Acupuncture Visits $100 to $135 (prices vary per practitioner)
VISA & Mastercard are accepted.
Plan on 1 - 1 1/2 hours for the initial visit and 1 hour for each visit thereafter.
